I feel that #e is happy simply cruising without pushing #s greatly at the moment 10=#E has produced a consistently pleasing record of work throughout the last term. #H overall achievement would benefit if #e were to improve the accuracy of #h answers within a scientific context within examination level question. 11=#E has worked with increasing levels of enthusiasm and confidence in this subject and #h skills in a practical setting have progressed a great deal. #H last assessment result was pleasing and roughly in line with previous assessments over the year. 12=#H term time work has been of very mixed quality and quite disorganised, with a number of deadlines missed. Although #h heart is in the right place and I feel #e enjoys this subject a great deal, #e is a long way off from tapping into #h true potential. 13=#H term time work record has been pleasing however #h end of term assessment was disappointing, especially for a student of #h ability. 14=#H last exam result was fair, though demonstrative that there is room for progress next year. #H examination answers contained some very simple mistakes that can easily be corrected. 15=While #h end of year assessment was pleasing, #h record of work through the year was quite variable. 16=#E has an inquisitive mind and is interested in the many different aspects of Biology. #H written work has generally been good over the term, but #e did miss some deadlines near the end of the year. 17=#E has demonstrated the ability to contribute in lessons; however, there were a number of times #h attention was found to be wandering somewhat. 18=#E has produced a variable work record at times over the last year but the end of year assessment demonstrates a very pleasing comprehension of all that we have covered. 19=#N's recent assessment reflects #h effort and attitude towards biology rather than #h ability. COMMENTS: 3rd form final statement 1=#E has always been a ready contributor to lesson based discussions and has displayed considerable aptitude for practical work. This is a great start to #h IGCSE course. 2=Future progress will come from a combination of developing the practice of seeking out extra help from #h teachers with any areas of the subject with which #e is not confident and adopting a rigorous and comprehensive approach to revision. 3=In the future, I hope to see a continuation of #h very positive approach to this subject and perhaps an even more active role within lessons, such as building on the leadership role that has been emerging from the practical work #e has undertaken this year. 4=Now that #e has laid some good foundations at Dauntsey's, #h main objective will be to build on this and I would encourage #m to seek out help from #h teachers outside of lessons for any particularly difficult topics. 5=If #e can maintain #h current levels of progress in this subject over the following two years, I can see #m obtaining some very pleasing results in the final assessments. 6=#E should aim to produce #h best work at all times, and always revise thoroughly for assessments. Overall, a good first year. 7=A little more revision before examinations would not go amiss but I feel #e has real natural talent for Biology and as #e matures, #h results will also improve. 8=A first step improving #h academic performance will be to revise thoroughly before examinations as well as asking more questions of #h teacher both in and outside of lessons. 9=#E should aim to maintain the high quality of #h work next year. Overall, an impressive year - keep up the good work! 10=#N needs to continue building on this positive start made this year when #e returns to school in September. 11=Next year I would like to see #m put more consistent effort into #h homework and revision before assessments. 12=Overall, a very good year. Well done #N! 13=#H overall achievement would benefit if #e were to improve the accuracy of #h answers within a scientific context within examination level questions and #e also needs to check #h comprehension of difficult concepts by seeing #h teacher in or out of lessons to ask further questions. 14=The content covered this year will be examined in two years' time, so #e must ensure all is not forgotten in the time ahead. I would recommend a habit of regularly reading over notes made this year and reviewing the pertinent materials from #h textbook. 15=#E should aim to produce #h best work at all times next year, as #h prep record was, at times, somewhat incongruent with #h full abilties. 16=#H end of year assessments stands testament to just how successful this year has been in this subject! COMMENTS: 4th form summary statements 1=There is still a great deal to cover in the syllabus and #e must now be prepared to maintain #h current high standard of work in class and also initiate an energetic revision program that goes back over past work over the next very important academic year. 2=#H current approach to the subject is a successful one and as long as #e maintains a solid comprehension of the topics that we have covered over the last two years, I feel that #e should achieve a very pleasing result in the final exams next year. 3=I have no doubt that any warning to avoid complacency or 'taking it easy' is completely needless, as #e has always appeared to know exactly what the score is in terms of the required inputs for this subject. 4=Of course there is room for improvement and I have no doubt #e will continue to progress in this subject and seek to achieve the best results #e can in the future, especially now that the IGCSE examinations drawing ever nearer. 5=Next year #e must identify areas of the Biology syllabus that #e is not confident with and be willing to revise them thoroughly and to approach me for help in any part of the course #e is not sure about. 6=I would ask that #e regularly revisits the topics that we have covered over the last two years as the final exams will be on three year's work and suspect the biggest danger facing #N, is that #e forgets the detail of some of the earliest topics. 7=Further progress will come from a combination of continuing to seek out extra help from me with any areas of the subject that #e is not confident with and developing a rigorous and comprehensive approach to revision. 8=#E obviously has the potential to do very well in this subject and I feel this is more likely to be achieved when #e continues to strengthen #h comprehension of the subject over the year ahead. 9=#E works well in a group and practical setting and I feel that as long as #e continues to work at this current pace and standard, #e should look to enjoy some excellent results in the final exams next year. 10=#E would benefit from asking more questions in lessons, however, #h current approach to the subject is a successful one and as long as #e maintains a solid comprehension of the topics that we have covered over the last two years, I feel that #e should achieve pleasing results in the final exams next year. 11=I think key to making further progress is an increased willingness to ask questions within and outside of lessons. #E should be absolutely tenacious about developing a solid comprehension of every topic in the time remaining before the final examination. 12=#E can still make significant progress as evidenced by #h last result and next year I would like to see a greater level of inquisitiveness in lessons. 13=#E would benefit from a little more time spent researching answers to some prep questions or deliberating over #h answers in tests before putting them to pen. 14=Next year #e will need to try and establish greater consistency in this subject, this will come from ensuring #e revises well before all tests and exams and continues to ask plenty of questions in lessons. 15=#E remains a little too easily distracted in lessons at times and I think that if #e can develop a more focussed approach to this subject next year, there will be a reduced risk of #m under performing in the final examinations. 16=Next year, I would like to see a reinvigorated approach, in which #h work is competed to #h full ability and #e prepares thoroughly for tests and exams. The result for #h last topic test was good but still off from #m full potential and illustrates the need for greater organisation when completing weekly prep work as well as conducting preparations for topic tests. 15=#H term time work record is good but #h last test result produced a lower than expected grade, which is disappointing as I know that #e capable of far better. 16=#H approach to Biology has become a lot more mature and #e seems to have developed a real interest in the subject. #H work record this term has been good (with occasional aberrations) and #e gained a very pleasing grade in #m last topic test. 17=#H last topic test result however, was lower than expected and was certainly below #h full potential in this subject. 18=#H last test result was a bit disappointing for a student who has demonstrated so much overall improvement since last year. 19=#E gained a good result in the last topic test but there is room for improvement and next term #e will need to push #s to achieve a higher standard. 20=#E is at times, a little too easily distracted and would benefit from being a little more focused in lessons. COMMENTS: 5th form concluding statements (nov) 1=#E must prepare fully for the mock examination over the Christmas break, as #e needs to deliver a performance indicative of #h best. Generally, students will gain a grade for the final examination over the one they gain in the mock examination, so #N needs take the approaching mocks seriously. 2=#E continues to demonstrate a real flair for this subject, this combined with more time spent forming a solid comprehension of the subject material over the Christmas break should allow #m to produce some pleasing mock examination results next term. 3=A good solid program of revision will go some way towards guaranteeing a good mark in the approaching mock and GCSE examinations. 4=The mock examination is an important approaching target to prepare for #h performance in this will often act as an indication for how #e is likely to perform in the final examination. I would like to see #m aim for a grade higher than #h recent test grade as this will be a fair reflection of #h full ability. 5=#E gained a very pleasing A grade in the last test, a grade that I would like to see #h obtain of better, in the mock exams after the Christmas break. 6=#E is capable of better and I would like to see #m gain at least one grade from this last test result in the approaching mock examination in January. 7=#E must ensure that #e makes the appropriate preparations for the mock examinations in early January, so #e continue to build on this very pleasing progress this year. 8=I have no doubt that this pleasing level of effort will continue throughout the rest of the year. If you /* make changes and save, the file should automatically be /* saved as plain text. On PCs it will usually open in /* NotePad. On Macs, usually TextEdit. In Word, and other /* word processors, use 'save as' (see Word File menu) /* and then choose file type: 'text only/plain text'. /* /* /* ADDING HELPFUL NOTES: /* /* Lines starting /* are for notes (like this line). /* They are ignored when files are imported. /* You can add notes anywhere in the file. Blank lines /* are also ignored and can also be included anywhere. /* /* /* COMMENTS AND LISTS: /* /* Files contain groups of comments and lists. /* Each group should start with either: /* /* COMMENTS: your-comment-name-here /* or /* LIST: your-list-name-here /* /* List names are 2-30 characters long and contain /* only letters, numbers, '&', hyphens and NO SPACES. /* /* Comment names can include spaces, and any other /* characters except: < > \ # (max length 50). /* /* Each group may include up to 20 numbered lines, e.g. /* /* COMMENTS: Science Yr7 project work /* 1= #N's work on #Science-topics was excellent. /* 2= #N gave an inspiring #Science-topics presentation. /* 3= #N received a well-deserved A+ in #Science-topics. /* 4= etc... /* /* LIST: Science-topics /* 1= Heating and Cooling /* 2= Light and Sound /* 3= Exploring Magnetism /* 4= Changing Earth /* 5= etc... /* /* REMINDER... lines beginning /* are for notes. /* So to import the two science examples above, /* you would need to remove the /*, otherwise /* the lines would be ignored when imported. /* /* /* NEED MORE HELP? support@SchoolReportWriter.com - we usually reply the same day. /* /* SCHOOL REPORT WRITER .COM /* https://schoolreportwriter.com/ /* The FREE ONLINE school report writing software & school report card comments bank.
