It will also help to increase #h range of notes that #e is able to play. COMMENTS: TRA07: Technique 1=An improved hand position and finger technique has been evident in the increasingly fluent and accurate playing of the more difficult passages in #h pieces. 2=#N has developed a strong foundation of skills and has the ability to build on this foundation successfully. 3=#N's finger technique could be improved through the careful practice of difficult passages encountered in pieces and set scales; #e needs to smooth out and lighten #h technique. COMMENTS: TRA08: Artic & Post 1=ARTICULATION 2=As a result of greatly improved articulation, #e is playing with much more clarity and precision. 3=#N needs to improve #h articulation (clear and distinct notes through accurate use of the tongue). Accurate articulation will improve the clarity and style of the performance. 4=POSTURE 5=#H efforts to improve #h posture have resulted in a much fuller and more confident sound, and a more fluent technique. 6=#H playing posture requires some attention. Correct posture will make a significant difference to the quality of the tone and the fluency of the performance. Correct posture also helps to minimise fatigue and muscular stress.
