Introduction
In the unit 'Can buildings speak?' # explored shapes and patterns in different buildings. ^ began by producing prints and rubbings of patterns found in ~ a range of buildings and then ^ went on to look at, and record, the use of shape, space and pattern in the local buildings around *. ^ investigated what these features told * about the purpose of the building. ^ worked in a group and ^ produced a relief sculpture for temporary display. ^ used ~ first-hand observations as a starting point.
