Through a range of activities, ^ explored sameness, difference and diversity. ^ learnt that, as humans, we are all equal, have basic needs and rights, and belong to a range of groups and communities, including school and family. # learnt about the importance of respecting each other, and that it is wrong to abuse people for any reason, including their race. Through ~ classroom topic, ^ explored what other places are like and how ^ is connected with different countries in the world (interdependence). At the end of the unit, # had the opportunity to reflect on what ^ had learnt and ^ was able to share ~ ideas with others in the school community.
